I am wondering what is the most important thing for one in life? Beauty, money, knowledge, status, our organs, air?? But again, we come with nothing, go with nothing. Need nothing as well.
Then, looking at the flowers (lavender,daisy,purple chrysanthemum) in my W.C, pretty aren't they? How long can they survive with roots? 3 days? a week? I'm not sure. What I am sure of is they are as pretty as they are when alive.
So I eliminated beauty. Money seems to be a MUST for everyone in every corner. But once again, can money be used to stop the flowers from dying? Can money buy the happiness we urge for? Can money buy knowledge? Graduates are so common in a competitive country like Singapore. There are still some unfortunate ones that does not have the same learning ability as the grads. Can money be used to plant knowledge into them? NO!
Money, eliminated.
You might the most knowledgeable person. But you will become the same as the most UN-knowledgeable person when you kick the bucket. What are you then? A NOBODY. Again, knowledge eliminated.
A respectable person like Newton who found the existence of gravity. Honest speaking, who is thankful of Him now? Yes, he is still being remembered after this long. But is he still having the status he had before? Some say yes, some no. Just think, does it makes any difference with status? He died just as we do.
Director of a company (CEO), highly respected by employees. Economic recession caused him to be bankrupt. Company is gone, employees will flee in order to find new prospect. CEO is now nobody and will be marked as "money-borrower". The earth is round, You may be at the north pole now but who knows when the earth will rotate, the next moment, North pole is now the South pole.
Status, eliminated too.
Our organs and air is only needed for survival. Organs decomposed, air is still air for other survivals. Organs and air, ELIMINATED!!!
Seems like there is nothing important in this world. But I have found something important to me. GOD. The God who created me and the earth. I knew, when I go with nothing, God is still there to be with me. I need nothing with Him around. I need not be feared.
For now, it seems that God is just like an imagination. He is of no help at all. Some Non-christian can earn bulks with no help from GOD. Some Christians still suffered with the help of GOD. There is no physical difference between a christian and a non-christian.
Just a few days back, I got so dejected and thought why didn't GOD answer my prayer? He does nothing to fulfilled me for what I prayed. I got discouraged and my thoughts went wild. Then, I received a SMS from a NON-christian on the same week.
It goes like this:
"GOD loves you so much that He turns His ear to you constantly. He always answers your requests, maybe not with a YES, but always with what is BEST!"
Miracle isn't it?
I know, He wants me continue to talk to Him, have faith in Him. Let me know, He wants the best for me in a direct way as well as a non-direct way. He knew, I am losing faith in Him and myself. I'm dying soon spiritually. He bought me back to live.
Thus, I know, with GOD living in me. If I'm dead physically, I'm still alive spiritually.
